Colourism is a web application that takes your first name, last name and data of birth and turns it in to your unique colour. There are over 16 million possible colours that could be generated. I built the web app from scratch when travelling around SE Asia after Christmas 2008.

The site is powered by PHP and styles up with xHTML and CSS. The design is minimalist as to show off the colours generated to the maximum. The site has some extra features like a zazzle integrated personalised gift section, a colour and name search tool and a recent colours palette generator.

The site is only a month old (as of writing this post) and has already been featured on many websites, had 50K colour searches and over 250K page views.
